I buy Flavour Drum Curry Leaf Chutney Powder because my cousin tell me it taste like homemade. When open pack, strong aroma of roasted curry leaves and dal fill in kitchen. I eat with hot idly first time, just little oil mix, taste superb. It not too spicy so my parents also enjoy. Texture little coarse which give nice bite. Work with dosa, rice, chapati and even with bread toast. I keep it in jar, no moisture problem. Now it is must in morning breakfast table in our house.
First thing I feel when open this chutney powder is fresh curry leaf smell. Taste is very close to what my grandma make in Tamil Nadu. I like to mix with rice and ghee for quick lunch. Also good with dosa and vada. No artificial feel.
The roasted curry leaves and dal balance is great. Even last pinch in jar smell fresh. I carry small box to office for lunch use. Taste is natural.
For me, best way is mix with sesame oil and hot rice. Feels like home meal. Spice medium.
Not only breakfast, I also sprinkle on evening snacks. Brings earthy curry leaf flavour.
